The new 10 series Ku Band antennas utilise the same electronics package and proven Sea Tel design as the other Ku band antennas but in a cost effective, lightweight package optomised for lower cost of ownership.
Comparing the 1m 4010 antenna to the KVH mini-VSAT for example, the Sea Tel costs less and is not restricted to a single airtime provider, RF configuration or coverage area. And because it is significantly larger, it performs better in more places. With Automatic beam switching, the antenna is therefore ideal for commercial ships engaged in Asia Pacific or global trade.
This product has been discontinued. It has been superseded by the Sea Tel 5012.
