Acutec is looking for expressions of interest from marine satellite technical specialists with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join our team. In depth experience in all of the following areas is essential:
 |
Sea Tel VSAT and TVRO both Ku and C band products |
 |
Inmarsat maritime terminals |
 |
Commissioning of satellite modems |
 |
Computer networking |
 |
RF / communications test equipment |
 |
Other marine electronics equipment |
To succeed, you will also require:

Outstanding fault finding skills |
 |
Excellent written and verbal English |
 |
Ability and willingness to travel worldwide |
The position would entail installing, commissioning, fault finding and servicing satellite equipment on large private yachts, cruise ships, warships, commercial vessels and offshore facilities, working to the very highest professional standards.
You must be resourceful and able to work independently at sea or in remote locations. You must also be comfortable with travelling, small aircraft and helicopter flight, working at heights and being away from home for short periods.
You will need appropriate industry and/or university qualifications. And to keep you (and us) at the top of the game, you'll receive on-going training and career development opportunities.
